Sharleen YU is a senior curator at Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM). She was the Research Department chief from 2022-2024, and was the Exhibition Department chief from 2017 to 2022. As the chief of the TFAM exhibition team, she has also planned and supervised the execution of the Taiwan exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 2019 and 2022, and the Taipei Biennial in 2018 and 2020.
The exhibitions she has curated include ”Theater of the Times: Contemporary Images and Their Many Interpretations”(2025), “Small Is Bountiful: Margaret Shiu’s Contemporary Art Collection” (2022); “Worldward: The Transformative Force of Art in Taiwan’s New Cultural Movement” (2021); “Faint Light, Dark Shadows” (2017); “History's Shadows and Light” (Taipei Cultural Center, New York, 2017); “Declarations/ Documentations: Taipei Biennial 1996-2014” (2016); “Time: The Images of Chang Chao-Tang, 1959-2013” (2013); and documentary exhibition “The Mighty Image: Photos from the Independence Post, 1985-1994” (2023).
