Rick Wang founded the AKI Gallery in 2002 and, in 2019, launched the Aki Gallery Leipzig Prospect in Leipzig, Germany. In 2015, he was elected as the Chairperson of the Taiwan Art Gallery Association. In the same year, he served as the first Chairperson of the Asia Pacific Art Gallery Association Alliance (APAGA), playing a pivotal role in integrating and expanding the Asia-Pacific art market.

 

His notable experiences include founding the first editions of Young Art Taipei and Photo Taipei in 2009, becoming the first Taiwanese judge invited to the Tagboat Award in Tokyo in 2012, and launching the first edition of ONE ART Taipei in 2019.
