Shih-Lun CHANG

Shih-Lun CHANG is an Art critic and photography historian. He is also the curator of "An Open Ending: Huang Hua-Cheng" (2020, Taipei Fine Arts Museum) and author of "Reclaiming Reality: On the Historical Formation of Taiwanese Photography" (2021). His translated works include John Berger's "Understanding a Photograph", "Another Way of Telling", and Charlotte Cotton's "Photography as Contemporary Art". His research specialties include image history, contemporary art, music criticism, film studies, aesthetic modernity, and Cold War history. He is currently engaged in visual criticism and ongoing writing projects related to the history of photography in Taiwan.
