Masakazu MURAKAMI was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1977. He won the Grand Prix at the 16th Photography “Hitotsubo Exhibition” and the Grand Prize at the 5th Visual Arts Photo Award. 

 

He published photo books “Kumogakure Onsen-go” and “Subway Diary,” and worked in the editorial department of “Nihon Camera” magazine from 2008 to 2021. In 2021, he established a joint venture company, PCT, to manage the website “Photo & Culture, TOKYO”. He currently also serves as the Editor in Chief of  “Sha Shin”.
