Born in 1963. Starting as a documentary photographer who captured the social landscapes on the streets, Heinkuhn OH has focused on portraying specific groups of people that present a certain type of social convention created by the Korean society. His portrait works were shown at numerous international exhibitions including the 51st Venice Biennale and the 1st Taipei Biennale and he has published five monographs: 《Ajumma》: portraits of middle-aged women in Korea, 《Girl's Act》, 《Cosmetic Girls》, 《Middlemen》. He is currently teaching in Kaywon University of Art and Design in Korea.
