Rick Wang is AKI Gallery director who founded the gallery in 2002, and in 2019 launched the gallery space, Aki Gallery Leipzig Prospect, in Leipzig, Germany. In 2015, he is elected the Chairperson of Taiwan Art Gallery Association. At the same year, he is elected as the first chairperson of Asia Pacific Art Gallery Association Alliance (APAGA) who now takes charge of the important role to consolidate regional integration across the Asia-Pacific art market. Other important experience include, founded the 1st edition of Young Art Taipei and the 1st edition of Photo Taipei in 2009, invited as the first Taiwanese judge of Tagboat Award in Japan in 2012, and founded the 1st edition of ONE ART Taipei in 2019.
